It all started with a mantis shrimp in Boston... Our story is one only God could write, uniquely ours from the very beginning. Jon once said he would never date someone older, and Brittany said she would never date long distance—but God had other plans, and we’re so grateful He did. We had known each other casually through friends, but everything changed one evening at the zoo in Boston. Brittany, in her usual chaotic way, was rattling off wild and quirky animal facts. When she mentioned a fascinating tidbit about a mantis shrimp, Jon realized he wanted to know more about this wonderfully chaotic person who knew all of these random pieces of information.&nbsp; The very next night, we found ourselves at church, sharing a deep and meaningful conversation about God. That’s when Jon knew he HAD to learn more about Brittany... and the rest is history. Jon brings the calm, Brittany brings the chaos—and together, it just works.
